Justice, the victim – Gujarat state fails to protect women from violence
In this document Amnesty International appeals to the new government to live up to its promises to secure human rights to all citizens and to address the legacy of the 2002 violence in Gujarat with speed and earnest commitment. The organization also urges the Government of India to pay special attention to the forgotten women victims in Gujarat. Specific recommendations to both the Governments of India and Gujarat are contained in the last section of the report.
