Pluralism.in is a dedicated portal that presents the work and activities of the Promoting Pluralism Knowledge Programme (PPKP), a unique collaborative experiment between academic institutions and civil society organisations with a motto of rethinking development questions and goals in the context of emergent knowledge societies. It is also conceived as a platform for dynamic interaction between all those who are interested in issues of pluralism that affect the day to day life in India and elsewhere. PPKP is one among the five key knowledge initiatives undertaken by the Humanist Institute for Development Cooperation (Hivos) located in The Netherlands. Knowledge programmes are typically coordinated or anchored by academic institutions and bring diverse civil society, academic and other knowledge actors from across diverse jurisdictions into a process of critical engagement, productive reflection, and mutually inspiring critical learning.
