The Knowledge Question in Pursuing Development and Social Change
During the last two decades the world has transformed significantly in many respects. States, polities, ideologies, technologies, market spaces, consumption modes and civic spaces, in fact with very little exception rapid changes swept through all these sites. It is precisely this challenge that makes the existing modes of social action pursuing development and social change vulnerable in achieving their goals. The knowledge programmes initiative intends to address this critical challenge which stands before all the civic actors.
